The rules, in plain words

Last updated 24 September 2026

Wishing You lets you make a short film from your photos, words and voice, and send it to someone as a private link. It’s run by the team behind SongCustoms. By making or sending a wish you agree to these terms.

It’s free

Making and sending a wish is free, and so are replies and the midnight seal. We don’t sell anything on Wishing You, and we never charge you to keep a wish working.

Your wish is yours

You keep every right to the photos, words and voice you add. You let us store them, process them (for example, resize photos and set your voice to music) and show them to anyone who opens your link, only to run Wishing You. That permission ends when you delete the wish.

Only add photos and recordings you have the right to share, and think of the people in them. If someone in a photo asks you to take it down, please do.

What you can’t send

  • Anything meant to harass, threaten, shame or frighten someone.
  • Sexual content, or any content involving a child in a harmful way.
  • Photos or recordings of people who haven’t agreed to be shared, where that would hurt them.
  • Anything illegal in India, including hate speech and content that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Scams, or wishes that ask for money, OTPs, passwords or bank details. A real wish never needs these.

We remove wishes that break these rules. Anyone who receives one can report it from the contact page, and a person reviews every report within 24 hours.

Links are private, not secret

Each link is long and random, and kept out of search engines, but anyone who has the link can open it. Send it only to the person it’s for.

How long wishes last

Every wish keeps working for at least a year after it’s first opened. You can delete it earlier from My wishes. We work hard to keep the service running, but like any website it may sometimes be unavailable, and we can’t promise it will never lose anything.

Age

You must be 18 or older to make a wish.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and we’ll change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions, complaints and grievances go through our contact page.
